This directory contains two kinds of files: the configuration files that
define your website (and in particular site.cf, the master
configuration file), and files that describe your site to
visitors: faq.ht, policies.ht, and so on.
It is usual for "about this site" to link to /site/.
It is, of course, expected that you will edit these files to suit your own website. Whether you open the directory to upload and edit requests, and hence allow other people to edit your templates, is of course up to you, but we don't recommend it in most cases.
